If I use the FreeBSD adduser utility to add a new user account via the console or remotely via ssh, the new account is created as is normal in FreeBSD. But if I then look at the web GUI, that user doesn't appear in the list of users. And if I then create a new user in the GUI with a different username, this appears in the GUI OK but the one I created on the command line using adduser is deleted!
Are FreeNAS user accounts handled at a higher level as a different system, leaving system accounts as a separate entity, a bit like the way MacOS handles users?
