I recently set up a new instance of Freenas 9.3 and a configured a few jails- particularly owncloud. The problem is I rushed to have everything set up before I head out for my vacation so I didnt get a chance to/forgot to export/backup the configuration files. I came back after two weeks and the USB boot drive died =(
I read that without the backup of configuration file, I'd have to re-install Freenas and do an auto-import of the data and re-create the settings.
My question is when I recreate the jails and point it to the dataset, would the configuration/settings automatically be set up? E.g. would I lose my owncloud data?
