Upgrade to 11.2 breaks boot

I upgraded from 11.1 U6 to 11.2 beta 3, however when i rebooted it never came back up. Reboot just give me the grub prompt. How can i fix this without a fresh installation?

Run the installer, when it prompts you to perform a fresh install or upgrade, select upgrade.
