SOLVED Upgrade from 9.2.1.9 to 9.10, need to upgrade IBM ServerRAID M1015 fw?

Hi,

I have two FreeNas 9.2.1.9 servers that I would like to upgrade to 9.10.

Do I have to upgrade the IBM ServerRAID M1015 fw before upgrade to FreeNas 9.10?
Currently using 2118it.bin.

And also, since replication is used between the servers, anything I have to think of to keep the replication congiguration or will it just work as before efter the 9.10 upgrade?

You do need to update the firmware from v16 to v20.00.04.00. This can be done after you install the new FreeNAS update.

Thanks, then I have to search for where to get new fw for the IBM ServerRAID M1015 .

Figured out that I'm using fw v15 now.

You don't get firmware for the M1015. It's crossflashed to think it is an LSI 9211-8i, so you look on LSI's (now Avago, or maybe Broadcom) website.

FreeNas 9.10 was ok with fw v15, was not able to identify any problem.
Upgraded SAS fw from v15 to v20 anyways. Got v20.00.07.00 from Avago website, was not able to find suggested .04. version. All I can say is that my boxes works very well so far. :)
