Updating PLEX Web for 11.2

Hello to you reading this. I am a noob at FreeNAS and PLEX. I built a NAS and installed all of the necessary software and got PLEX running on my NAS. Its been a great 2 years. Recently went to the plex website to watch some shows, it wouldnt let me navigate my server and said Update you plex media server and prompted a rar file to download. I barely have the computer know how and the help of YouTube to get the server and plex running and setting up SMB permissions. I have no clue how to update the Plex Web for my server. If anyone could help me i would surely appreciate it.

Are you on 11.2? In truth if this is two years old I would update to 11.3, delete your plex install and rebuild it all over. It doesn't take long. You may not need to redo the SMB stuff--the beauty of separating the plugin and the data.

There's no need to delete it and start over. There are plenty of threads on updating plex and also upgrading the jail if needed.
