Currently we have two CIFS shares that everybody can access and now I have to configure it so that one of them can only be accessed with a password.
I didn't do the initial setup and don't have much experience with freenas and samba. So I read a bit of the documentation and some forum posts on the topic here.
But everything I do/read confuses me more and more.

Both shares don't allow guest access but I never had to enter login information for them.
Both also don't have a user set so nobody should be able to access it right?
I tried setting the user for one of the shares but no changes.
I noticed that one share uses force user and force group and the forced group is also the group of the other share, so I thought maybe this is the reason why I can access both, so I changed the group of the other share but I still can access it without problems.

I hope someone here can clear my confusion and help me find a solution. Please let me know if I should provide any further information.
