Hi everybody,

I decided to re-do my parents NAS box quickly using UFS instead of ZFS as this is a 32 bit box with 3gb ram..

Upon getting everything set back up and sending files via CIFS I get alot of these (looks like ACL issues?)

Code:
Sep 4 11:46:47 RENTSNAS smbd[4084]: [2013/09/04 11:46:47.333673, 0] modules/vfs_posixacl.c:170(smb_ace_to_internal)
Sep 4 11:46:47 RENTSNAS smbd[4084]: unknown tag type 64

Doesn't seem to matter what kind of file I transfer.. Whether it was on the server previously or not.. Is this an issue with not destroying ZFS pool before redoing the disks as UFS? Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Thanks,

I would love to know as well! I'm using UFS as well and getting these same issues since I fresh installed to 9.2.1.7 x64. I tried adding the auxiliary parameters to no avail. Ran fine on 8.2 but had to upgrade to get AD to work, which I'm still sorting out...

error: unknown tag type 64

using CIFS shares on a windows network.

happens when copying to FreeNAS unit. Files copy and retrieve okay, logs just look crazy and worried about performance and log files being to big

Log/console reads:
