Two ZFS1 or One ZFS2 pool for 10 drives?

I'll be upgrading my NAS with a new case and more drives soon. Since I'm going to rebuild the whole thing I was trying to figure out if I would be better off having two ZFS1 pools of five drives each or one ZFS2 pool of 10 drives. I haven't found anything that really says one way is better than the other so I thought it was time to ask the experts in the community for their opinion. This is strictly a media server for movies, music and some pictures.

RAIDz2 is a better choice in today's world of large disk capacities.

You mean RAIDZ1 and RAIDZ2? ZFS is currently v5... so maybe using proper terminology would be helpful...

Z2 over Z1 all day. Z2 can survive 2 simultaneous drive failures regardless of drive location. Z1, in your case, could survive 2 failures as long as they happen in opposite pools. If the 2 failures happen in the same pool, all your data is likely gone.
