Trying to install FreeNAS 9.10 - USB media not listed as install target

I downloaded the 9.10.2-U1 ISO, wrote it to a USB key, put the USB key into my NAS, booted from it (after setting the boot order to boot from USB), selected "Install / Upgrade," but the USB drive doesn't show up in the menu for "choose destination media." The only thing that shows up are my hard drives. What now?

Do you have 2 flash drives in your machine? The one with the install media and the second one as a target for the install?

You cannot install from and to the same drive. You need two USB drives, one to install from, one to install to.
