When I transfer data to/from my Truenas Scale 23.10 nas, I notice that the speed reported on the main screen is actually twice the actual traffic, which is reported correctly in the network reporting graph. I installed the latest version from scratch and there were no extra updates to install after everything was set up.
Is there is something wrong with my setup or is this a possible bug in 23.10. I don’t recall noticing this in versions 22.xx.
I also confirmed that the same thing occurs whether the truenas server is talking to another truenas server or a regular desktop. The transfers are being executed over a 10GbE network.
Here is an example, from the attached images of on ongoing replication task between two nas servers:
main screen: 889MiB/s
network reporting graph: averages around 3500Mibits/s (divided by 8bits/byte = 437MiB/s)
