Hi,

FreeNAS noob here. I'm having trouble with Transmission on FreeNAS, the Transmission webgui keeps giving me Permission Denied errors very soon after the download begins. This is evidently a common problem, but unfortunately the advice given to others on this forum hasn't solved my problems.

My set up is as follows:

2 added users, 'bob' and 'mbuff'

2x 3TB disks mirrored pool called BigPool (Unix permissions: nobody/nogroup)
->Time Machine dataset called TMBackup (Unix permissions: bob/bob 770)
->Dataset for my movies called Media (Unix permissions: bob/bob 775)
Both these datasets are shared on the network with AFP.
2x 1TB disks mirrored pool called Puddle with a single dataset called Puddle (Windows permissions: mbuff/mbuff )
This datasets is for the movies and TV shows my girlfriend watches. It's shared on the network as a CIFS share because she uses a Windows laptop.
I've installed the Transmission plugin twice, since I wanted one for me and one for her. transmission_1 has the Media dataset mounted in its jail under /mnt/Media. transmission_2 has the Puddle/mbuff directory mounted in its jail under /mnt/mbuff. Both webgui's are easily reachable at their respective IP's, but adding torrents to either results in permission denied within the first few megabytes.

How can I fix this?
