Transferring boot disk from USB to Sata Drive

Hello all, I have been running FreeNAS 7 (and now 8) for a while now, and have been booting off a USB thumb drive. Well, I have extra SATA ports, and recently aquired a 36GB Raptor that I instead want to boot of off. Is there anyway to install on the new hard drive and transfer the configuration? I am afraid if I do the save settings and then import, it overwrite the primary boot disk?

Any help is greatly appreciated!
