Time Machine can't access the backup disk

Having followed the instructions for setting up Time Machine on this page, http://doc.freenas.org/index.php/Apple_(AFP)_Shares

I stillö can't get the backups to work. I get the message

"Time Machine can't access the backup disk"
"The operation couldn't be completed (OSStatus error 13) after I entered the login credentials selecting the backupdisk to be used in the Time MAchine dialog
See picture below.

I am using FreeNAs 8.0.4p3 and the MAc is a MacBook Pro latest version running OSX10.7.4 but also 10.6.8

What is the meaning of this error?

Hi,

I am also experiencing this problem (on top of my other AFP and permissions issues!) See my post in other thread details of my configuration http://forums.freenas.org/showthread.php?7634-Can-not-modfy-AFP-Users

Guessing its all related to permissions and AFP :-(

Although I did manage to do a complete Timemachine backup, just can't reconnect to it anymore.
