Hi

I have used the update facility and used install pending updates to update my 9.3 install (upgraded from9.2. something).
Now this is the second time I have done this and both times I received the message "The following Inconsistencies were found in your Current Install" after doing a verify install. The list is in the attached file. The first time it only showed permission errors and not user ID and Group ID errors, the first time round I fixed this.
Should I have done that?

How is it happening.

By the way I have been trying to sort out a sabnzbd install which will not let me change folders-but that is another issue, in my endeavor to get sabnzbd working I may have changed my Data files and jails all to 777 but failed to get sabnzbd working properly. could this have affected the other permissions and accounts?

Also if I need to change back how can I set all the info easily, last time I did it one at a time.

I can't tell you how it is happening, but I can tell you this:

1. They are all 0775 instead of (insert something else). That tends to make me think something or someone was adding 775 permissions to things they shouldn't have.
2. While unlikely to be your actual problem in this case, your hardware isn't server grade. You may have some kind of problem that is related. Again, unlikely, but not zero chance.
3. A "zpool status" output of your freenas-boot pool would be useful as it will tell us if you have true corruption of your boot device or if this is something being changed by a user or application.

I believe the changes were probably my fault trying to get sabnzbd and sickbeard or sickrage (swapped from one to the other) to share data.
I have now changed all back to how they should be.
The paste command in shell is brilliant for that.

Yes I know I don't have server grade my next build will be, I do have backup on two usb disks. Would like to know how I can do that direct with our going through windows.

Must say your posts do worry me about my lack of ecc ram, but mine is only a home server for XBMC which it appears may people do the same.
