I'm attempting to use tftp from both Linux (PXE) and Windows (command line).

When I use it I get the following:
Oct 21 16:38:02 freenas tftpd[75506]: Timeout #0 on DATA block 1
Oct 21 16:38:03 freenas tftpd[75467]: Timeout #5 on DATA block 1, giving up
Oct 21 16:38:04 freenas tftpd[75493]: Timeout #2 on DATA block 1
Oct 21 16:38:06 freenas tftpd[75480]: Timeout #4 on DATA block 1
Oct 21 16:38:07 freenas tftpd[75506]: Timeout #1 on DATA block 1
Oct 21 16:38:09 freenas tftpd[75493]: Timeout #3 on DATA block 1
Oct 21 16:38:11 freenas tftpd[75480]: Timeout #5 on DATA block 1, giving up
Oct 21 16:38:12 freenas tftpd[75506]: Timeout #2 on DATA block 1
Oct 21 16:38:14 freenas tftpd[75493]: Timeout #4 on DATA block 1
Oct 21 16:38:17 freenas tftpd[75506]: Timeout #3 on DATA block 1
Oct 21 16:38:19 freenas tftpd[75493]: Timeout #5 on DATA block 1, giving up
Oct 21 16:38:22 freenas tftpd[75506]: Timeout #4 on DATA block 1
Oct 21 16:38:27 freenas tftpd[75506]: Timeout #5 on DATA block 1, giving up

I've added the -d flag to tftp and get nothing additional. Any thoughts?

I was able to solve the issue. I was PXE booting from a VM (from Virtualbox on Freensas). When I had "allow promiscuous" mode to always I saw this. Interestingly from the same settings on windows with virtual box it wasn't an issue. When I set it to denied it was fine. Seems like nested promiscuous mode (because the jail) was likely the issue.
