the issue was here>
NVMe Firmware source was set to Vendor Defined Firmware
i changed to AMI Native Support and it booted.

no clue what is that.

That means "does the firmware for NVMe come on the SSD or shall I use my own?"

Correct, and neither has the NVMe drive. But if you tell the BIOS to use the firmware that isn't there to boot, it probably won't :smile:

but for a what purpose do u need a firmware? i don't get it ...
u have nvme drive with OS files and bootloader; so you just boot it ... or firmware to be able to access NVME drive via pcie?
