Hello everybody.
About an hour ago I rebooted my FreeNAS box (specs in my signature) but it hasn't booted up yet. Looking at the KVM console I get this:

It's stuck at "ZFS volume imports complete".
Do you have any idea what could be the problem?
Should I just reboot it again and see what happens?
Thank you.

Solved!
I have no idea what went wrong, but rebooting the server just worked.
Shutting it down gracefully didn't work so I had to reset it the hard way.

Yes!
By the way, upon reboot, I found out what was wrong:

One of the two USB sticks that make up my mirrored freenas-boot zpool apparently died.
How cool is that??

It was an old 4GB USB 2.0 stick. It lasted only 2 months. I hope my other new USB 3.0 64GB stick will live longer...
I'm going to buy another USB stick and resilver the mirrored boot vdev.
I'm wondering if the machine would have completed the boot-up process if I hadn't power cycled it. It was supposed to boot up even if one of the USB sticks failed, right? Otherwise what's the point of mirroring??

You may have run into a weird edge case. ZFS boot from GRUB is somewhat hacky, and a bad boot device is going to behave especially oddly.
