I have a volume I created (nzbToMedia) and for some reason from the freenas userland, I can't list the contents of the directory (appears empty), but a jail (sabnzbd) that has this volume mounted can see the content just fine. I first realized the issue when setting up another jail (s3cmd) that I use to backup items. The s3cmd jail contains a read-only mount of nzbToMedia but it too was unable to see content or files. When I exited, I thought for sure I'd be able to list the contents from the FreeNAS root user, but I wasn't able to.

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

Not really. I ended up simply copying the contents, deleting, and recreating. So resolved, but odd.

You don't have your mounts in the jail setup correctly. If you looked at zfs list I would guess all your data is in the jail.
