I have a dataset configured of 500GB. I have added that storage into esxi. I migrated several VMs over to the new datastore and FreeNAS correctly shows the amount of disk left that is available. For example I have a 500GB store and moved 100GB worth of VMs onto the FreeNAS, so 400GB still available. What happens though if I move the VMs off of the FreeNAS datastore the FreeNAS still shows that only 400GB is available instead of 500GB.
In VMWare though the datastore though does show the correct amount of available space.
Is there a way to resolve this so that if I move a VM off of the FreeNAS stores the FreeNAS reports adjust accordingly?
