I recently had to rebuild (wipe the data) my backup FreeNAS server. I then setup my replication task from my primary server, as I had it setup before.

I noticed three strange things:

* The size of the snapshots are different on my primary NAS compared to my backup NAS. The backup NAS snapshot sizes are always smaller.
* Previously my primary NAS would replicate to the backup, with the backup always being 1 hour behind. Now the backup is 2 hours behind?
* See attached images. I would expect the sizes to be identical, but they are not?

The 2.1 TB indication is on an old version and is equivalent to the 2.6 TB on the new version. The new top line tells you about raw space, without considering that some of it is parity.

There are several possible reasons for it being larger on the new server, but it's hard to say from the information you've provided.
