SMB shares not working in 11.3-RC1

On one of my FreeNAS boxes I was playing with using FreeNAS as a domain controller around 11.2-U5ish. I'm now running 11.3-RC1 which has all of the Samba server stuff pulled out, but since about the time that I started playing my SMB shares don't accept any authentication, guest or user auth. The only thing I can think is there is a setting in there somewhere that is stuck and needs to get removed. Any ideas where to start looking?

No, I'm not able to connect any SMB shares from any of my Windows or OSx machines. AFP/NFS still works fine.
