Hello,
My large storage array, running TrueNAS-12.0-U7, threw me a message today that I had not seen before:
New alerts:
* Device: /dev/da8, SMART Failure: WARNING - ENCLOSURE DEGRADED.
I have not been able to find out what this message means through DuckDuckGo or Google.
When I go through the web interface, the alert is in the corner. But when I drill down to the pool, I see no errors. If I look at the disk itself, it doesn't show any errors and the SMART Test Results return "No Results" (hmm, need to file a bug, it actually returns "No Reults").
Can someone tell me what the "ENCLOSURE DEGRADED" message means?
It still referring to the one drive, or is it talking about a larger server problem?
Thank you.
