I have a DELL T300 with Xeon X3323, 20GB RAM, 4 x SATA WD 3TB in raidZ1
Write speed via terminal and "dd if=/dev/zero of=testfile bs=1048576" give me 166MB/s
Read speed via terminal and "dd if=testfile of=/dev/zero bs=1048576" give me 200MB/s
However via network 1Gb cable to my mac and nfs i get with a big ISO file of 20GB : 35MB/s write speed and 90MB/s read.
I know that a 1GB network can only give 90-100MB/s but i find the write speed slow.
Any advice ?
