simple command line commands

I want to do some simple things with SMART tests, and the GUI is not being cooperative.

1. First, how to I figure out the NAME of my drives in linux at the command line?
2. second, how do I run a short smart test on that drive?
3. Third, how do I check the result of that short smart test?
4. Is there any way to fix/correct SMART errors?

Next, if I find a drive that has SMART errors:

1. How do I dismount it from my RAIDZ ZFS Pool? Then shutdown?
2. When the new drive is in there, how do I add it to take that drive's place in the same zpool?
