I just used this script to install Zoneminder. While the script worked fine and exited without any errors. I'm seeming to have some errors in the log that I can't find in google. Is your version of the script working, are you able to add cameras? Here is what mine is showing:

In trying to troubleshoot I tried the following command and got a response that there is a problem with a .so file:

I’m not sure what that means. I also ran into this but everything seemed to work normally. Once things stabilized it seemed to disappear.

The one thing I never had any luck with is controlling cameras.

The script works perfectly for me.

Woah, I take that back.

After looking at that error, it looks like the same issue that the Nextcloud script had.

I’ll update the script with a fix for it.

Basically the script uses the same base version as TrueNAS Core which is 13.1, but there seem to be issues popping up because of it. The solution is to change it to 13.2, which I will do and report back.

Updated. Try running the script again.

Delete the jail, and did another git download of the script. Ran it and voila it worked perfectly and is now capturing. I appreciate your quick response and attention to this.

Any chance that you also installed zmeventnotification or can create a script for it so that I can install it within my zoneminder jail?

Unfortunately I don't use zoneminder. I just compiled this script because there were some people using the plugin, which doesn't work anymore.
