Reset Active Directory folder permissions?

Hello all,

I am running Freenas 9.2.1.3, and a windows domain environment.

Last night I right clicked a CIFS shared folder went to security, removed the "everyone" option and put myself/admins as the only ones who can do anything with the top level folder.

I think something went wrong, because now when I click network places, I am not seeing my freenas computer.

I tried resetting both the NAS box and my computer; I tried accessing it from other computers, I can't seem to get in to see any folders now from the windows side.

I am learning my way around freenas, but still very new. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi everyone,

After finagling with this all day, I am close to having this sorted out.

I can now see the shared CIFS folders, but when I right click go to properties, I can't change anyones security permissions.

I am sure this is a simple fix, but what am I missing? I listed myself as the owner under storage but that didnt' seem to fix it.

Help?
