Hi all,

I'm testing Truenas in my virtual environment (a VM inside proxmox with virtual disk as boot disk and single physical disk passthrough to the VM). It works ok but I confused about the statistics; NFS and disk speed.
NFS speed (both in dashboard view or reporting) shows significantly greater than disk IO speed, approximately 220 MiB/s write for NFS and 8.66 MiB/s for Disk IO.
You can see attached screenshoots.

How can it be different? Anyone can lead me to the explanation ?

You are looking at a single disk (da1) vs NFS total.

Your pool surely consists of more than one HDD/SDD, so writes get distributed across them depending on pool setup.
ZFS maybe compresses writes. (ZEROs especially)
ZFS maybe write to RAM first and to pool (disks) later.
