Replicating resized Zvol

On my primary TrueNAS server, I rebuilt a Zvol to reduce its allocated disk size.

When a Zvol size is reduced on source, does the replication destination Zvol adjust its size, or is there something manually I can do in ZFS to reflect the new Zvol size without having to destroy the destination pool to rebuild the replication?

Scenario: Changed 3 TiB Zvol to 1 TiB Zvol on primary server, then restarted replication task, but Zvol on destination is still 3 TiB.
