When I replicate the jails dataset (the answer may be not to bother!) it makes new mount points on the recipient root filesystem, .freenas in the same dateset as jails is in, and <sending pool name>/ in the root of the recipient. If the recipient was a FreeNAS system this would possibly damage the existing jails, especially if not the same version. As the recipient is a Linux system, it does no harm but is very untidy.

Is there any way to prevent this?

Edit: 28th April, 2015. It still mount .freenas, but with time and updates the sending pool name is no longer mounted.
