Remote Access with Plex Media Server App / Kubernetes

Hi all,

My server died and I moved to TrueNAS over the weekend. Thus far I've been pretty happy with it (other than the time it takes to resort the data to it from a backup).

I installed the Plex App / Kubernetes cluster from the Apps tab. It seems to be working fine except that I can't figure out how to get Remote Access to work reliably.

I think it has something to do with the network handoff between TrueNAS and the Kubernetes container, but this is my first time working with Kubernetes (or Linux for that matter).

The app reports that it successfully is accessible via Remote Access and then fails to inaccessable within about 30 seconds. I've tried it with no port specified as well as with 32400 (the default port) manually specified. Same behavior.

Any suggestions? How do I need to think about the networking between the cluster and the TrueNAS server?

Thanks! Will.

Hello,

Did you ever figure this out? I am currently running into this exact problem and am having trouble trying to fix it.
