Hi everyone,
decided to give freenas another chance , going to use it on an I5 nuc and then move it to my Gen8 server.

For plex , all my stuff is on a google cloud drive, Can i use normal rclone ?
or can i mount the drive somehow with cloud credentials

Maybe I'm missing something here, but if 'all your stuff is on a google cloud drive' why do you need a NAS device?

"For PLEX, all my stuff is on a google cloud drive"

bump....does anyone know if possible?
sorry i am nagging but if not supported i might as well give up on freenas as i need it for plex.

I saw somewhere that it's supported in version 12?

You're not really explaining what it is your trying to achieve, and suggesting to run FreeNAS on a NUC with data stored on google cloud drive probably has most people thinking you should be looking to use something else, as this isn't what FreeNAS is about.

Perhaps if you described exactly what it is you are trying to do, people might be able to offer some suggestions. From what you've posted so far, I'm still in the 'you don't need FreeNAS' camp.

so i have lots of plans for my NAS.
- Plex server, jellyfin, pihole, docker, sabnzbd, sonarr, radarr, torrents, sync to cloud, etc etc etc...not sure how it's related?

I need to know if i can mount rclone drive.

also i explained that freenas on the nuc is a temp solution and will be moved to a full server....but again (and i am not trying to be rude...)
how is it related to the question can i rclone mount or not?

did you google?

That would suggest that it might be possable in a jail...

this is the error i keep on getting.
Fatal error: failed to mount FUSE fs: open /dev/fuse: no such file or directory
I installed fuse by typing:
pkg install fuse and also allowed fuse on the jail properties

ok so the little help actually says this:
Set to allow privileged users inside the jail to mount and unmount the fusefs file system. The jail must have FreeBSD 12.0 or newer installed. This permission is only effective when allow_mount is set and and enforce_statfs is set to a value lower than 2.

can i have a version 12 jail on freenas 11.3,how do i do that?

I think we have to wait for TrueNAS 12
