Hey,
Im somewhat new to Truenas but got my way around it :D
So I have Built a system
- AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
- MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk
- Crucial Ballistix MAX BLM2K8G40C18U4BL RGB, 4000 MHz 4 * 8GB
- SanDisk SSD PLUS 240GB (Boot)
- 4 * 4 TB 4TB Seagate IronWolf ST4000VN006 (in Raidz1)
- Zotac AMP 980ti
- XFX 750W PSU
- Truenas Scale Bluefin latest release
It has been working great and uses about 80W (I have applied MSI overclock and XMP). I use it mainly for NAS, then I have couple VMs im working with and Jellyfin. In future i want to add Nextcloud and some other apps.
I have limited my ZFS Cache to 8GB, because it used all of them before and i needed memory for VMs and havn't noticed any difference.
The problem Im having is that its having this random network utilization the whole time while the apps and VMs are off. There are pcs and phones connected to SMB share but nobody is accessing anything, so it should be basically no usage. I only have a scrub task for Sundays and that's it so should I be worried that something is leaking or is this normal?
