Hey so I've recently returned to Free/TrueNAS after being away from it for a few years and am trying to set up a Fibre Channel card for use with an LTO4 tape drive to recover some old data. I remember on the version I was previously using it was practically plug and play however something seems to have changed in recent versions and the card won't even activate. Both sets of lights are solid and the IR transmitter is not active on the card side it is however active on the tape drive. When disconnected both sets of 3 lights would slowly flash and when connected one of the 3 lights would be illuminated. I have not tested the card with other OS's although it was working when it was originally installed in my PC.

Doing dmesg | grep isp returns this:
Code:
root@truenas[~]# dmesg | grep isp
isp0: <Qlogic ISP 2432 PCI FC-AL Adapter> port 0xd100-0xd1ff mem 0xdfe84000-0xdfe87fff irq 19 at device 0.0 on pci3
isp1: <Qlogic ISP 2432 PCI FC-AL Adapter> port 0xd000-0xd0ff mem 0xdfe80000-0xdfe83fff irq 16 at device 0.1 on pci3
vgapci0: <VGA-compatible display> mem 0xdd000000-0xddffffff,0xdf800000-0xdf803fff,0xdf000000-0xdf7fffff irq 23 at device 3.0 on pci6

Going off this I would assume the system knows the cards are there but don't have any drivers for them despite having drivers in the past although I could be wrong.
Motherboard is a Supermicro X9SMC-F, CPU is a E3-1220 v2, and the Fibre Channel card is a QLE2462. I would potentially be willing to buy a new Fibre Channel card if it has guaranteed compatibility with TrueNAS considering the age of the QLE2462. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are no cards with guaranteed compatibility with TrueNAS, because TrueNAS officially does not support FC.
