I've connected my UPS, the Ever Duo II Pro, via usb (no serial port unfortunately) to my freenas box with Asrock C2750D4I. The device is recognized, dmesg returns:
After configuring the UPS service to use usb_blazer and enabling it, everything is fine for about 5-10 minuts. After that, there is COMMBAD event followed by NOCOMM. I've checked if maybe the device got somehow disconnected, however dmesg doesn't indicate anything like that. I've even replaced the usb cable, but nothing changed. Furthermore, if I restart the UPS service, everything is fine for another 5-10 minutes.
Am I doing something wrong (like using unsupported UPS - even though it's on NUT supported list), or maybe there's a bug that causes the connection to drop?
I've also attached /var/log/messages from the moment the service is started till COMMBAD
