Problem saving email settings

Hi

I'm running FreeNAS-11.3-MASTER-201904081045 and when I go to system/email and enter my outgoing gmail server settings it will let me send a test email no problems. As soon as I click save I get the error "Fatal error! Check logs. ".

Which logs should I be checking, I have checked both /var/log/messages and /var/log/middlewared.log and there is nothing in them I can see which is related.
Where are these settings saved, in a flat file or a database?

I had this on an earlier release from a few months ago and couldnt get it working then either.

Are you running a nightly build or something?

Yes just updated to the latest nightly to see if it resolved the issue which it didn’t.

Revert back to the latest release so you get back to a baseline. Then I would file a bug report.

Thanks, I had it working on a non nightly sometime last year so I’ll file a bug report.
