Email Settings

Since going to 11.2 I am unable to save my email settings, i can hit test with the settings entered and the email works fine but when i hit save it just says; Fatal error! Check logs.

I have tried with incognito and different browsers.

Any else having issues?

Yes. There have been a couple others that had some issues. This may be a bug and the best thing to do here is submit a report so the developers can look into it.

Does your password have any non-ASCII characters?

No, its nothing complicated

Is there anything in /var/log/messages or /var/log/middlewared.log when the test email fails?

The test email works fine and no, nothing comes up in either when i hit save

I see, it sounds like a bug in the new UI. If it persists once 11.2-U1 is out (due end of month), please report it at bugs.freenas.org and post the issue number here.

Hi, I just applied U2 and im still unable to save the settings. The issue number is #76279
