Hello, I just set up a FreeNAS server. I installed the Plex plugin successfully and could access the web gui for Plex. I finished the initial setup and then stopped the jail to add a mount point. After starting the jail again, I could no longer access the web gui.

So I tried to install the plugin all over again. Once it was up and running, I stopped the jail and then started it again. And same thing, I can not access the web gui anymore.

Here is the log from the Plex plugin when I start the jail:

On the plug in tab / installed is the DHCP running? Whats the DHCP ipv4 address? You should see an ipv4 address. 192.168.x.x::32400/web/ should be your web gui address.

Yes, the ipv4 address is 192.168.1.241. I was first able to access the gui through that address followed by :32400/web but after restarting the jail it no longer works.

Have you tried restarting the plug in? Thats an odd issue. You might try port forwarding port 32400 to 192.168.1.241 in your router to see if that changes anything.

Yes I have tried restarting the plug in, and also the whole FreeNAS server. It made no difference. I'll try the port forwarding, but even when I try to connect to it through the Plex website, it shows up as offline.

Well, if the DHCP is up and running, showing an ipv4 address, i would think it should be working unless theres a networking issue or firewall causing problems. I've never run into that issue, I wish i could be of more help.

Thank you for trying to help. I managed to solve the issue but I have no idea what I did, I just installed the plugin for the third time.

...alternatively .. you can stop the jail and then hit update .. it looks for updates but it seems to reinstall the plug in. I modified my plex plugin and then stopped the jail and updated it and then restarted and all my changes were no longer there.

When I first installed the plug in on 11.3 Beta, plex didn't work until I stopped the jail and hit update and then it worked
