I have pi hole installed as an app. The IP address of pihole is listed as my TrueNAS scales IP address with a port number. In my Ubiquity dream machine pro (UDM Pro) I get an error when setting its DNS server because of the port number. (must be a valid IP address).

TrueNAS scale - 192.168.110
Pi Hole - 192.168.1.110:20720

How can setup pihole to work with my UDM pro?
ETA: I set my UDM DNS server as 192.168.110. The internet works but pi hole does not show any queries.

you don't need the port number, just use the ip. At least that's how it is for my router.

Why iX (or whoever created that chart) thinks having a DNS server listen on port 20720 is acceptable, I have no idea. If you want to use Pi-Hole, use the TrueCharts version instead; its defaults aren't completely stupid.

No thanks. I like Pi hole and I am familiar with how it works.

What in what I wrote suggested to you that I wanted you to use something other than Pi-Hole? The "official" Pi-Hole app has stupid defaults. The TrueCharts Pi-Hole app doesn't.
