Hello community !

I'm new into freenas and i build a system to store and process my photogrammetry workflows using freenas storage, and i'm having some network issues, it seems that the network have some glitches interrupting my workflow and the result is thak some of the files created are corrupted. i'm using metashape and i have a freenas of 40tb in with a AMD Ryzen 3 3200G with Radeon Vega Graphics with 8gb of ram (info on the dashboard : 5.9 gb installed) 4 disks of 10 tb in RAIDZ1.
I would like to correct those glitches, any ideas to help ?
Thanks a lot !

Please give more information of your used hardware. Please also klick on that big read link "Forum Rules" in the middle on top of this thread.
It explains what information a post should include.

Your network problems might likely be caused by suboptimal hardware (realtek NIC?). Also 8GB is the minimum memory sizes for FreeNAS.
Increase your RAM or try to reduce the RAM reserved for your emedded GPU to a minimum.

No, installing a different driver doesn't really fix problems with Realtek. The Realteks apparently use little hamsters in running wheels to power their chipsets, and often the hamsters are sickly or dead on arrival.

Please consider intalling an Intel CT desktop ethernet adapter. Despite the word "desktop," this (and most other) Intel card has a very well designed high performance chipset that works very well with FreeNAS.

You can feel free to search the forum for other examples of Realtek hamsters dying and very happy users who have replaced them with an Intel CT card. Please make sure you use a genuine Intel card, however. The fake Intel cards can operate just as badly as a Realtek.
