Hi All,
I recently switches to FreeNAS coming from Rockstor and am having some issues with permissions.
My setup is as follows, I have a dataset with permissions set to Windows. This has an owner (Martin) and Group (Users). My Ubuntu computer mounts through AutoFS and Cifs with user (dl) that is also part of the group Users.
When I manually create a file on the share it works fine and the user dl is used, however when Sabnzbd is staretd manually (with same user account that I use for Shell) it is unable to create files on the share due to permission settings. Setting the Everyone user in windows to full control obviously sorts the problem, however I'm trying to figure out why Sab for some reason has a different user than I specified with the CIFS mount as when I use Shell it works fine with the correct user account.
Any views are appreciated.
Thanks.
