Hey there,
I have a question regarding pci passthorugh into a virtual machine.
I currently have or better had another computer running ubuntu and VDR as a backend, which just died.
instead of buying new hardware, I don't have anything fitting laying around, I came across the idea of running a virtual machine on freenas instead.
I searched the documentation and the forum but couldn't find anything regarding passthorugh into a vm. The card in question will most likely not have a freebsd driver. The card in question is a digital devices cine s2 pcie.
The only thing I found, was a couple people that tried with no luck, passing a pci card trough into a jail but not into a vm.
Any help or hint is greatly appreciated!
