Listing the disks by issuing ls -l /dev/da* shows me that every disk has 2 partitions except for the da15.
In my daily mails i get occasionally messages about faulty sectors and fault drive (which is always da15). After zpool clear it seems to be ok for a couple of days, but then same story again.

is there any possibility to get rid of this problem?
Thanks in advance

Since the messages about faulty sectors reappears after doing a zpool clear, it's probably indicative of a faulty drive (da15).

I gotta run, but try a google search, using: site:freenas.org zpool clear

The drive was freshly unpacked and inserted. I don't think so.
Could it be something with different sector sizes? This zpool was imported and upgraded from Linux system, and that is where all drives got their partitions - by creating a zfs pool under linux.

Sorry, that doesn't mean jack-squat. There were just a couple of posts in the last week where people had new disks that were bad.

The partitioning is also irrelevant, if the error keeps appearing after you clear it, there's a problem with the disk. Run some diagnostics on it, or a SMART long test. smartctl -t long /dev/da15 then wait for it to complete and check the results, smartctl -a /dev/da15 or something like that.

Thanks for your answers.

Run the extended smartctl tests. Now will see if the number of offline uncorrectable will rize.
Thanks again.
