Sounds like a permissions issue...

I’m facing the same problems to sync with Dropbox after I updated to FreeNAS-11.2-U2 last week. It doesn’t sync since the update.

Looks like this was a bug that is fixed for U3: https://redmine.ixsystems.com/issues/77412.

Yes, I reported the problem there and they found the fix. Binary Buddha my problem is with Dropbox sync, and I was able use another method to sync it. Generating a token with full access as described in the link dlavigne posted.
