But there is not any "ports" directory in /usr
Something I 've misunderstood ?

I Installed the jail but still not able to use "pkg_add": the reason seems to be I cannot reach ftp.freebsd.org.
The only thing I can ping from the plugin jail is the freeBSD host :
-> the gateway I use to go outside is 192.168.1.1
-> FreeNas is 192.168.1.60
-> the plugin jail is 192.168.1.61

I can reach whatever I want from .60
( I checked security.jail.allow_raw_sockets is 1 )
I can ping .60 from the jail
when trying to ping 192.168.1.1 from the jail, after a while I get the message:
"ping: sendto: Host is down"
...

(information : I installed FreeNas on a VMWare VM - ESXi 5, but not an issue from the main FreeNas host (.60) ...)

Have you got an other good idea?
Thanks

That's it.
I don't know what promiscuous mode is exactly but it was the problem... I should learn more about that.:)
Thank you for help
