The installation was fine until the option to enter 192.168.1.6 and control the Nas from my laptop. Each time I put the address in, I just get a blank page with "Welcome to nginx! and that's it. The NAS is shown in the router settings as 192.168.1.6. Any suggestions please.
I have found several threads with the same problem and it seems this is a very common problem. I suggest searching for the "Welcome to nginx" expression on here and Google. No definitive answer. I am working through them.
I found a solution that works for me. On start up, 11 options are given. I used option 7 three times and at last got access to Freenas console. I don't know if it will always work but I have tried it several times and been successful. Hopefully no more "nginx!"
