I looked through the documentation but cannot get the FreeNAS installation to work for sharing under NFS for both Windows and MAC machines from Page 125-129 of the users guide. The volumes are setup as ZFS.
What I want is two different groups, one all access (rwx) and other group for read only access. For each group I want multiple users (user1 and user2 for all access) and (user3 and user4 for read ONLY access). Can someone please point me to the settings for dataset permissions, FreeNAS permissions for the shares and the MAC as well as Windows configurations to share. Please if you can help that would be great as I have spent a lot of time and it just won't work.
