Hey everyone,
Since a week or 2 I cought the FreeNAS virus so I think it's about time for an introduction.
My name is Jeremy, 26 and I'm from the Netherlands. In my day to day life I don't work with PC's but they've always a part of it. My father is an IT-specialist and since I was young I've been helping him occasionally (when he had to work weekends cause of server downtime) and I just love working with PC's (Windows only :p). I'm always the one who get's called/asked for help with their PC. From fixing software/hardware till building whole systems. My personal PC reflects that with being watercooled; rigid tubing; multiple radiators/loops; etc.
The reason I got interested in FreeNAS is that I've wanted to build a server for a while now and I'm not really feeling it with Windows Server. A couple of days ago I bought the Linda Kateley classes (reply vids) and being halfway through now (using VMWare) I'm only getting more exciting for the physical system.
So this was just me saying hello!
