One key addition to 11.2-U4 from an SMB perspective:
There is now a dropdown for "SMB admin group" under services->smb. This group will be added as a foreign group to BUILTIN\Administrators on the server. This will allow group members (even on local servers) to perform some basic administrative tasks (such as viewing open files and altering share (not FS) ACLs). Members of the administrator group will also be able to alter ZFS user quotas using the native windows quota management tool in File Explorer if ixnas is enabled and configured correctly.
Members of the Administrators group will also be able to forcible take ownership of files. This means that you can be lazy and create a share without bothering about the permissions in the FreeNAS UI, then use File Explorer to take ownership of the share and change the ACL from windows.
