Perhaps, but I've never used it before and now I'm going to be spending an hour and a half trying to learn....

Isn't hard, but if you got to the jail shell you can do it from there.

Problem resolved. Also added a bug ticket #25234. Went into the shell of the jail then looked at the resolv.conf with this command:

cat /etc/resolv.conf

Then used vi to change the file, because the default gateway was wrong, as was expected.
Keep in mind that vi has some strange controls, I would definitely look into how to use it if you have to.

Once that was changed, the web app for Plex was still having issues, so I closed it and navigated to 192.168.2.11:32400 (which is the static IP for Plex in my case) and logged in again. It immediately found the server. Closed that tab and tried the web app again, and viola!!

Ticket was closed as User Config Issue. Not sure what the user could have done different from the GUI and not need to manually change to solve that.
