need help setting up me home freenas

I'm new to freenas and need help setting it up.
I installed the os 2 nights ago and had it all running well but was waiting on my hard drives. I installed my hard drives in the system today and moved it to its permanent location then booted it up the issue is it wont pick up my network and when I tell it manually it obtained the ip address of my home router so I cant log onto it from my pc to sett up my drives

specs
cpu: amd fx8350
mb: asrock 970 extreme r2.0
ram: 16gb (2x 8gb) hyperx ddr3
hdd: 4x wd blue 1tb
ssd: 1x ssd now 250 gb os drive

I know freenas recommends intel but it was working 2 nights ago all I have done is moved it from my study to the comin room and put 4 hdd's in

Hello,

Please take note that your desktop / gaming parts also are not recommended. Enterprise gear is recommended for relability and better support. You could have performance issues with Realtek network card.


You should connect a monitor and a keyboard and try check FREENAS console.

Try to reconfigure the network card from there.

Thanks for the help I worked it out it didn't like my modem
